Delete your Dayworthy account

Delete it in the app

1. Open the Dayworthy app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Delete account to open that section.
4. Tap Delete my account…
5. Type DELETE to confirm.
6. Tap Permanently delete.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

On the Dayworthy website, go to Profile → Privacy & your data.

If you can’t open the app

Email support@dayworthytravel.com from the address on your account. We reply to that address and ask you to confirm by replying “DELETE”. Once confirmed, we delete your account within 7 days.

If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, write from the relay address shown in your Apple settings. We delete nothing until we’ve verified the request is yours.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:

• your sign-in details and linked sign-in methods
• your trips, itineraries and plans
• your saved places, flights, lodging and to-dos
• your preferences and feedback
• your Inspiration items, including saved links, notes and screenshots
• your uploaded photos, including your profile photo
• your public share links, which stop working
• your forwarding address and imported booking records
• your usage records
• records of your AI itinerary requests, which are anonymised

What is kept, and for how long

• Encrypted backups: copies may remain in our backups for about two weeks, then are removed automatically.
• Forwarded booking emails: if you forwarded a booking confirmation to Dayworthy, our email provider may keep the original message for up to 30 days.
• Server logs: short-lived server logs may keep an internal account ID. They are not a copy of your trips or content.
• Anonymous diagnostics: crash reports and similar diagnostics that are not linked to you may be kept.

Nothing is kept for any other purpose.

If you sign in again after deleting, you’ll get a new, empty account.

Delete some data without deleting your account

In the app, you can delete individual trips, saved places, stops, to-dos, Inspiration items, flights and lodging, and replace or remove your profile photo, without deleting your account.
